Christmas is still almost two weeks away, but GOG is already giving away presents with a winter discount campaign that includes more than 4,400 games and a free game. Five more free games are to follow as the offers progress.
Ghost of a Tale is the free game prelude
It was not even two weeks ago that the week-long discount campaign on the occasion of Black Friday on GOG ended when the winter sale started in the DRM-free store. The campaign will last from now until January 2, 2023. The platform advertises, among other things, discounts of up to 90 percent and a free game at the beginning. It is the action RPG Ghost of a Tale, released in March 2018, in which players play as mouse Tilo. In the medieval setting, you have to explore a castle and use various stealth mechanics. Developed by a team of six, the game has a Metacritic score of 75/100 and a User Score of 8.3/10 on Metacritic.
On GOG, Ghost of Tale is now available for free until December 15 instead of around 23 euros, provided users agree to receive marketing emails. A total of five more free games are to follow by the end of the winter discount campaign, but these are not yet known. Apart from that, the store also attracts with sometimes drastic discounts. The following offers, among others, should be emphasized at the start of the campaign. The discounts given refer to the respective recommended retail price.
