NIO continues to grow and today announced that it has produced its 300,000th electric car< /strong>. Since it started building its first model in 2018, many things have changed and, today, this Chinese car manufacturer is carrying out an ambitious expansion plan even outside of China.
Talking about 2022 , the brand highlights that it has started deliveries of the ET7, ES7 and ET5 models based on the new NT2.0 platform. Apparently, 2023 will be the same year. very interesting given that the manufacturer aims to launch 5 new models to meet the different needs of customers.
With regard to its growth plan, NIO recalls that it has started selling its cars in Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, that it has created an Innovation Center in Berlin and that it has opened a research and development center in Singapore for 39;artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. As a curiosity, the model number 300,000 is the first one. a blue ET5 sedan.
BATTERY SWAP

As we know, the Chinese brand announced towards the end of November that it had made more than 1,200 battery swap stations operational in China. NIO's goal remains to make more than 4,000 battery swap stations available by 2025, 1,000 of which, however, outside China (mainly in Europe).
In fact, the car manufacturer has begun to install the first battery swap stations also in the Old Continent, in the countries where it has started selling its cars. To support the growth of its network of battery swap stations, NIO has opened a factory in Hungary where it manufactures battery swap stations for Europe.
