Foreign. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says he is convinced that Sweden and Finland will soon be NATO members, reports Sveriges Radio.

Antony Blinken made the announcement at a press conference in Washington on Thursday where the foreign ministers of Sweden and Finland also participated.
– There is overwhelming support in the US for Sweden and Finland to become members as soon as possible. We have presented it to the Turks, he said.
What the US is doing concretely to convince Turkey, which is blocking the Swedish and Finnish NATO applications, the US Secretary of State did not want to go into.
