Baldur's Gate 3: New trailer, final date and a collector's edition

The role-playing game Baldur's Gate 3 has been in the Early Access program on Steam for a good two years. Now there is an official date for the publication of the finished version and thus the end of Early Access. In August 2023 it should be ready, as the new trailer reveals.

Larian Studios used the attention of the Game Awards last night to announce the release of how also announce the start of pre-orders for the Collector's Edition of Baldur's Gate 3. The trailer then also provides a glimpse of the return of old acquaintances and the most important place in the series: the city of Baldur's Gate.

The early access version can already be purchased for the full price of 60 euros, although the scope is still limited. On the other hand, the Collector's Edition, which is limited to 25,000 units worldwide and will not be available until August 2023, will cost 260 euros. In return, fans will not only get the game, but also a 28 centimeter high statue, a 20-sided die, a fabric map of the game world, an art book and much more.

Patch 9 is pending in Early Access

Another patch was recently announced for the Early Access version. The developer studio wants to reveal more about this on December 14th in a live show with star guest Geoff Keighley.
