HWMonitor 1.48: System tool supports new processors and graphics cards

The small system tool HWMonitor, which is provided by CPUID, the developers of CPU-Z, supports numerous new processors and graphics cards from AMD, Nvidia and Intel in the latest version 1.48.

HWMonitor supports new APUs, CPUs and GPUs

After HWMonitor 1.44 support for Intel Alder for the first time Lake and DDR5, the developers have not only expanded the software, which is only 1.4 megabytes in size, with new hybrid processors from the Intel Raptor Lake series.

In addition to the AD103 graphics processor of the GeForce RTX 4080 (test) based on Nvidia Ada Lovelace and RDNA 3 as the basis of the upcoming Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT, there are also processors from the Athlon 7000 series (“Mendocino”) in the release notes of the updated monitoring app.

Also, a total of eight additional processors are from the Core i 12000 series and Core i 13000 series represented with H and HX suffix in release notes.

HWMonitor logs the 12VHPWR connector

As with the well-known 6/8-pin PCIe connectors, it is now possible for the system tool to measure the input power that is transmitted via the new 16-pin connector (” 12VHPWR”) flows, to be read and logged. GPU-Z 2.51.0 also offers this feature since the last update.
