AMD's latest graphics driver, the Adrenalin Edition 22.11.2, accelerates various new releases. While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen will be released on December 14th and will be provided as a free update for owners of the 2015 original, the latest series installment of Need for Speed will be released, which Palace Edition buyers have been playing since November 29th today.
The survival horror game The Callisto Protocol will also be officially released later today for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (test) and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (test) appear.
Product care fixes problems with Firefox
Also, the new graphics driver fixes one of the biggest annoyances of Firefox browser users. As the official release notes reveal and the community from the ComputerBase forum confirms, the playback problems with videos that are played via the free browser have been fixed.
Fixed Issues
During video playback and window switching, an intermittent driver timeout or black screen may occur on Radeon™ RX 6000 series GPUs using some 240Hz refresh rate displays or high refresh rate primary display plus low refresh rate secondary display configurations.
Stuttering may occur during video playback using hardware acceleration with Firefox on Radeon™ RX 6000 series GPUs.
AMDRSServ.exe may cause GPU utilization to remain at 100% after closing games on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon™ 570.
An intermittent driver timeout or black screen may occur while videos are playing in VRChat™ on Radeon™ RX 6000 series GPUs.
On the other hand, problems persist with flickering textures and graphical artifacts in the co-op action game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, as well as with the rendering of the user interface in Chromium browsers when two videos are played simultaneously. According to the manufacturer, AMD is in contact with the developers regarding the problems in Warhammer.
