Domestic. A female police officer was seriously injured during an intervention in Ljusne in Hälsingland. Now a man in his 40s is suspected of attempted murder.

Commotion arose on Thursday afternoon in connection with a police patrol checking a suspected stolen car at an address in Ljusne.
It was when a man in his 40s, who is suspected of the car theft, was arrested and placed in the back seat of the police car as he attacked one of the officers.
The policewoman was bitten and received several blows to the head, among other things. The man also tried to grab the policeman's weapon, but failed, according to the police incident report.
“Another policeman comes to the rescue, and then the man tries to grab his weapon as well. But thanks to the wise intervention of a female member of the public, finally get the man under control,” the police write.
One of the police officers, a woman, was seriously injured and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The other police officer, also a woman, was slightly injured.
The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder. The man, who appears in the police register from before, is also suspected of, among other things, possession of means of transportation.
