Ubuntu for Intel's IoT Platform
While Ubuntu already functions as an enterprise operating system in the areas of cloud and server as well as robotics, the distribution known for its beginner-friendly desktop offshoot is also set to gain a foothold in the industrial and retail sectors. To this end, Canonical and Intel have teamed up and pre-ordered three versions of the operating system optimized for Intel's IoT platform.
