Change at the top of the Jaguar Land Rover Group. In fact, Thierry Bolloré, the current CEO, has announced his resignation which will take effect on December 31st. The reason for this decision? Apparently it was for personal reasons. No other reasons for the manager's farewell to the English group have been officially communicated.
On his resignation, Bollor & eacute; said:
I am immensely proud of what I have done. that we have achieved together in Jaguar Land Rover over the past two years. Transforming and accelerating the business towards a sustainable and profitable future is a must. going on at great speed. I would like to thank the whole team for their dedication and passion and wish the whole organization the best for the future.
What happens now? For the time being, the role of CEO will be limited to the role of CEO. covered on an interim basis by Adrian Mardell, current financial director and for three years a member of the executive committee of the English group. Mardell has been with Jaguar Land Rover for 32 years.
Bolloré he had arrived in 2020 in Jaguar Land Rover to relaunch the English group which had been heavily penalized by the consequences of the outbreak of the pandemic. The manager renewed the business model of the English group, arriving to launch the new industrial plan "Reimagine" which provides, among other things, that the Jaguar brand will become electric-only from 2025. Tata Motors, which controls the English group, commented on the change at the top as follows:
