GeForce 526.98: New Game Ready driver for the RTX 4080 and Spider-Man
Nvidia's latest graphics driver, the GeForce 526.98 WHQL (“Game Ready”), supports the GeForce RTX 4080 for the first time (test, survey at the start of sales) and brings optimizations for Marvel's Spider- Man: Miles Morales, Warhammer 40,000 Darktide and World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
One GeForce driver chases the next
It is currently happening in quick succession with new Nvidia graphics drivers. It's not even three weeks since the GeForce 526.47 appeared and brought with it a serious bug that could cause high power consumption on the desktop. A hotfix driver was the result, before the next full release of the GeForce 526.86, including optimizations for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, was submitted less than a week ago. And this time there is also an update for the start of new games, but also an adaptation for a title that was released two years ago: Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales receives support for DLSS 3 (test) as previously announced.
Not only the GeForce RTX 4090 (test) can benefit from this this time, but also the RTX 4080 released on the market today, for which the new driver is a mandatory requirement. Nvidia also mentions the VSync support of DLSS 3 frame generation when G-Sync is switched on and the support of HDR10+ gaming as innovations. In addition, DLAA (Deep Learning Anti Aliasing) anti-aliasing, modified from DLSS, has found its way into Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
This new Game Ready Driver provides the best day-0 gaming experience for the latest new games supporting NVIDIA DLSS 3 technology including Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Warhammer 40,0000: Darktide, and the new update for WRC Generations – The FIA WRC Official game. Additionally, this Game Ready Driver supports the launch of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight and the addition of DLAA technology to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
