Domestic. From the turn of the year, the navy will be supplied with two new war units in naval logistics at Karlskrona and Haninge garrison, writes the Armed Forces on its website.

The two new military units, the first and second Marine base battalions, will be included in the regular organization from January 2023 and will be subordinate to the commanders of the Marine base and the Stockholm amphibious regiment.
During the autumn, the work on start up the two new war units intensified. Both battalions have been staffed with their first personnel during the autumn.
In October 2023, the battalions will have enough personnel and material to be able to be part of the navy's logistics supply and contribute to the response activities.
The first conscripts for the two new war units move in in August 2023.
