The GAC Group has chosen Italy and precisely Milan for the his first Car Design Studio in Europe . Yesterday, the Chinese brand inaugurated the new GAC R & amp; D CENTER EUROPE which, together with the studios in Los Angeles and Shanghai, will work to design the cars of the future.
Inside the new design center in Milan will work 25 professionals who will deal with design, experience design and visual brand. In particular, the group will be & agrave; composed of Italians with designers, modelers and planners who will arrive in Milan from other GAC studios in China and the United States.
THE NEW DESIGN CENTER 
At the head of the new GAC R & amp; D CENTER EUROPE there will be & agrave; Stephane Janin , French automotive designer, graduate of the Royal College of Art of the United Kingdom and with past experiences in Renault, Dacia, Alpine, Samsung Motors, Infiniti and Nissan, which has so & igrave; commented on the inauguration of the new structure:
Car designers need inspiration and big cities & agrave; they are the ideal places to capture the spirit of the times. Milan & egrave; a perfect example. We want to be an active part of the community; creative Milanese and for this reason we have chosen the studio of a great Milanese artist and a symbolic area for design and art as our home. It will be a new generation car design studio, fully digitized, with the ambition to attract young professionals and to fuel their creativity.
GAC has chosen to set up its own center of excellence in what was the studio of Giovanni Gastel, the recently deceased Milanese photographer, writer and poet of international fame (Via Tortona number 16, Porta Genova area).
