General Motors is pushing a lot on electric, presenting, through its different brands, a new series of battery-powered vehicles. The last one is the GMC Sierra EV, an electric pickup . This new model is based on the well-known Ultium platform and & egrave; close relative of the Chevrolet Silverado EV. The market launch is, however, still far away. In fact, the American brand will bring & agrave; on the road its new electric pickup only from 2024. ULTIUM PLATFORM 
This is not GMC's first electric pickup. In fact, the American brand already has; markets the new electric Hummer. The capacity of the battery is not been declared. However, the manufacturer speaks of a range of up to 640 km . Thanks to the 800 V platform, from the 350 kW direct current columns & egrave; It is possible to recover about 160 km of distance in 10 minutes. In alternating current & egrave; can be recharged up to 19.2 kW.
It should be noted that this pickup was created to power external electrical devices through the Ultium Power Bar (10 sockets and 10.2 kW available). Instead, with the Energy Ultium Power Home accessory it will be; it is even possible to supply energy to one's home.
