Peugeot is preparing for the future that will be; more and more; under the banner of electric cars. At the Paris Motor Show in 2022 , Linda Jackson, CEO of the French brand, announced that in the coming weeks it will be & agrave; presented the Inception Concept . It is a concept car that embodies Peugeot's vision for the next generation of electric cars based on platforms designed for 100% electric powertrains.
FIRST INFORMATION
For the time being, only some first little information about the concept car has been shared. Inception Concept will open the way to the new family of battery-powered Peugeot branded cars. The concept will anticipate also the new design language that the manufacturer has developed for these models thanks to the use of platforms designed only for electric cars that allow for greater flexibility; in car design.
Furthermore, the concept will show & agrave; a new interpretation of the interior spaces where it will be present a new generation i-Cockpit . In short, on paper, a very interesting concept as it will anticipate; future electric series cars from Peugeot. The manufacturer, we recall, in the next 2 years aims to launch 5 new electric cars. The ultimate goal, as we know, is that of reaching 2030 to sell exclusively 100% electric models. All that remains is to be patient a little longer to find out what Peugeot has come up with for its next battery-powered models. Linda Jackson commented on this; the next debut of the concept car:
For Peugeot, 2023 will be; the year of full electrification: starting in 2023, we will offer an electrified version of each of our models. But let's also look further. We will continue to rapidly electrify our range and launch at least 5 100% electric models over the next 2 years. There & ograve; means that Peugeot will have; a 100% electric offering for each of its models in 2025. In parallel, we are preparing the launch of the next generation of Peugeot's e-Native models, based on new platforms designed for purely electric motors. I will prove it; Peugeot Inception Concept, which we will unveil in the coming weeks. Its name, Inception, says it all: Peugeot Inception Concept inaugurer & agrave; the new 100% electric era of the Lion brand with a promise: by 2030, all Peugeot models sold in Europe will be 100% electric.
Finally, we remind you that in the course of 2023 the new 308 and 308 SW electric will be launched on the market together with a renewed e-208 with a more powertrain; powerful and efficient.
