“They postpone and refrain from effective measures to reduce labor immigration. At the same time that they reduces the reception of precisely those refugees who have the greatest needs. It is a very strange prioritization,” writes the S minister.
According to the Tidö Agreement, an investigation must be set up where “the starting point must be” that work permits should only be granted for work with a wage level corresponding to the Swedish median wage. At the same time, the number of quota refugees must be reduced to 900 per year.
After the asylum rules were previously tightened, so-called labor immigration today accounts for a large proportion of the influx of third world immigrants to Sweden.
