Foreign. Now Finland is preparing for perhaps the largest evacuation in the country's history. Over a million people may have to be displaced if war with Russia breaks out, writes YLE.

In June, Finnish Commander-in-Chief Timo Kivinen warned Russian rulers against attacking Finland militarily.
– We have systematically developed our defenses for exactly the kind of warfare that is being waged there (in Ukraine) , with massive firepower, armored forces and even the air force, he said.
In the border area, representatives of the Finnish Armed Forces are visiting within a short period of time to inform about the evacuation plans if Russia attacks.
Between 70 and 80 percent of the population is estimated to be able to escape with their own car, while the remaining parts of the population must be evacuated by bus and train, according to YLE.
