iPhone 14 Plus sales have started
Don't expect a queue at the Apple Store, because the delivery time of this new device was set at October 7 for a long time. Only in the past few days has it risen a bit more to further in October. But if you want one, don't worry: we expect that there will be sufficient stock of the iPhone 14 Plus, also with the providers. The iPhone 14 Plus subscriptions are now known there.
Why an iPhone 14 Plus?
This is a large version of the iPhone 14. You need to know this about the properties:
- It is the first time that Apple provides the standard model with an extra large 6.7-inch screen. The Plus replaces the 5.4-inch mini, which proved less successful. Whether the Plus format will be a success remains to be seen.
- With 100 hours of audio playback, the battery life is the longest of all models. The Plus also does very well when watching video: 26 hours. With the normal iPhone 14, that is 80 and 20 hours respectively. You can read more about the iPhone 14 battery in our separate article.
- The iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen, identical to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This is a Super Retina XDR display (OLED) with a pixel density of 458 ppi. Compared to the more expensive models, you miss the ProMotion support, the always-on screen and the Dynamic Island.
- The iPhone 14 Plus has the same camera as the iPhone 14, with a 12-megapixel main camera and sensor-shift optical image stabilization. They also have Smart HDR, True Tone flash, the Photonic Engine, selfie camera with autofocus. Compared to the Pro models, you miss the 48-megapixel main camera.
- In all other respects, the iPhone 14 Plus is exactly the same as the normal iPhone 14, with the same colors, storage and the like to choose from. Of course the price is slightly higher.
Its large screen makes the iPhone 14 Plus very suitable for gaming.
