Domestic. Russia is now demanding to participate in the Swedish investigation into the explosions on the Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea.

On Thursday, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Misjustin sent a letter to Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, Expressen reports.
“On October 6, a letter was received from Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Misjustin to Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson with the request that Russian authorities and the company Gazprom be involved in the Swedish investigation. The letter is currently being prepared within the Government Office”, writes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a comment to the newspaper.
Defence Minister Peter Hultqvist (S) has previously said that it is not is relevant to let Russia – whose gas pipelines it is all about – participate in the Swedish investigation into suspected sabotage.
