Economics. The diesel price is being raised significantly today by 90 öre a litre. The new diesel price is therefore SEK 27.32 at manned stations.

The petrol price remains at SEK 21.09 per litre, according to the fuel companies' target prices on Thursday.
Behind the change are higher crude oil prices, where North Sea oil was traded for 93 dollars on Thursday. The dollar is also unusually strong, which drives up prices.
Sweden has been given permission by the EU to remove taxation on fuel for three months. The change, which would lower the price by about three kroner per litre, has not been implemented, however.
