The coast guard has been given the authority to “intervene” in the international area to protect the investigation into suspected sabotage, reports TT.

The decision by the prosecutor means that the authority can act as if the leak was found themselves on Swedish territory.

– We do not say how we would intervene, but we can act. The important thing is that we can work undisturbed, says Mattias Lindholm, press spokesperson at the Coast Guard, to the news agency.

The smaller leak still has a radius of 20 meters while the larger one is gone.
