For the Mercedes A-Class & egrave; it's time to give yourself a makeover . After rumors and spy photos, we can finally discover the news that the German manufacturer has decided to offer for this model. Class A will continue to be offered both in the Hatchback variant and in that sedan. Prices for the Italian market have not yet been disclosed.
DESIGN AND INTERIORS 
The restyling has introduced some refinements to the design which allow you to refresh the look of the car. The main news we find them at the level of the front where a series of touches to the grille, the headlights and the bumper stand out. As is often the case with restylings, there are also new designs for alloy wheels with dimensions up to 19 inches. We also find alloy wheels in glossy black for the AMG versions of the A-Class. There are also some changes to the diffuser and rear light clusters.
Inside, we find the latest generation of the system MBUX. The instrumentation can & ograve; count on a 7 or 10.25 inch screen. The infotainment, on the other hand, features a 10.25-inch display. From the first quarter of 2023 it will be; a fingerprint sensor for driver identification is also available. Obviously there are supports for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto . The voice assistant has also been improved.
Mercedes has revised not only the steering wheel covered as standard in nappa leather, but also the center console that is; been redesigned. From the basic set up, the seats are upholstered in Artico leather. The AMG Line versions can count on a series of specific details designed to recall the sporty nature of the model.
Faithful to its Ambition 2039 plan which aims to reduce CO2 emissions along the ; entire value chain and vehicle life cycle, & egrave; been done more extensive use of recycled materials . For example, the comfort seats feature fabrics in the central section made from 100% recycled material.
With the restyling, & egrave; state also improves the standard equipment. Already from the basic model we find, for example, the camera for assisted reversing, USB ports and the nappa leather steering wheel as already; mentioned above. With the Progressive set-up, on the other hand, we also find LED headlights, seats with lumbar support and the Parking Package and Mirror Package as standard. Mercedes wanted to simplify the offer of packages to reduce complexity; in the choice of accessories.
With the restyling there are also news; on the driver assistance systems front. The Driver Assistance Package, for example, includes the Lane Keeping Assist whose modalities; have been improved.
ENGINES 
With the restyling, there are also novelties; of engine. Now, all gasoline engines offered are electrified . We find unit & agrave; 4 cylinders combined with 7 or 8-speed automatic transmissions. Alongside the Mild Hybrid petrol engines , the A-Class continues to offer diesel models as well as the Plug-in variant which can count on a 15.6 kWh battery able to allow an autonomy in electric only between 70 and 82 km. Accumulator that can & ograve; be recharged in alternating current at 3.7 kW or 11 kW (optional). The new A-Class Plug-in also offers the possibility; of a full load of direct current energy up to 22 kW of power. In addition, the new Plug-in model can count on an electric motor with a power of 5 kW higher than before (80 kW total).

Speaking of units & agrave; diesel , the A-Class & egrave; offered in the A 180 d models (85 kW/116 hp); A 200 d (110 kW/150 hp); A 220 d (140 kW/190 hp).
AMG 
The restyling of the A class continues ad be offered in high-performance versions from AMG . Small touches to the look have allowed to make even more; these sporty versions are gritty. In addition, alloy wheels with a new design are available. As standard, we find the AMG Performance steering wheel and AMG sports seats.
On the technology side, of course, the same innovations stand out; of Class A & quot; standard & quot ;. The MBUX system can & ograve; also rely on customized graphics. For the launch it will be; available a special limited edition series of the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC + called AMG Street Style Edition which is characterized by an exclusive equipment.
Speaking of engines, the Mercedes-AMG A 35 model now features of a unit Mild Hybrid. The change & egrave; an 8-speed automatic.
