According to Aftonbladet, the decision will be made public at the beginning of that week.

The Foreign Affairs Committee handles sensitive questions about Sweden's relationship with other states. The king is chairman and the meetings are usually held at the castle.

According to Aftonbladet's information, Björn Söder will be given a permanent seat there as an ordinary member.

The SD politician was previously second deputy speaker of the Riksdag, but after the election, party colleague Julia Kronlid got that post instead. Aftonbladet has previously referred to information which claimed that Björn Söder would have become “furious” when he was not nominated.
