  • Fixes an issue that prevents reloading of the tabs of the IE Force mode in a session.
  • Fixes an issue that successfully opens a browser window in IE mode to view a PDF file. Later, navigating to another website in IE mode within the same window fails.
  • Adds more dynamic widget content with notification badging to your taskbar. When you open the Widgets board, a banner appears at the top of the board. It contains more information about what triggered the notification sound.
  • Fixes an issue affecting dual SIM calls. If you do not select a SIM card on your smartphone and initiate a call on your device, the dual SIM function will not work.
  • Addresses an issue affecting some apps that aren't signed by the Microsoft Store. You need to install them again after upgrading the operating system.

  • Fixes an issue affecting some processors. This issue occurs when you enable Hyper-V and Kernel Direct Memory Access (DMA) protection.

There are no known problems with the installation of the latest cumulative update KB5017389 and the update already ran without problems in the Release Preview Channel. However, the update is still classified as optional and will not be installed automatically.
