BMW announced a new collaboration with New York lifestyle brand, Kith , founded by Ronnie Fieg, who made it possible to create an exclusive small series of the BMW i4. Is not serious; the first time that the German manufacturer and Kith have collaborated to create limited edition collector cars. In fact, in 2020, the BMW M4 Competition x Kith was created which then & egrave; 150 copies were produced which were sold in a very short time. The success of this exclusive limited series convinced the two companies to work together again.

ONLY 7 EXAMPLES

The result of the collaboration between the two companies is; a special series of the BMW i4 M50 (which we have tested in the past) which will be; made in just 7 copies. The first will be; sold at auction. The cars will be recognized for some dedicated aesthetic details starting from the particular Kith Vitality Green color for the bodywork.

Color that also finds its place in the BMW logo which for the occasion is; been revised by integrating the name Kith into it as well. Speaking of the cockpit, the car is equipped with Caramel-colored leather upholstery . The headrests and armrests have the Kith logo in relief. References to the fashion brand are also found on the lower part of the dashboard and in other areas of the cockpit. The front and rear mats are also finished in Caramel leather.

Compared to the BMW i4 M50, the standard equipment also includes the M braking system with red calipers, the M aerodynamic package, the BMW Individual Shadow Line and the Driving Assistant Plus package. No changes, however, regarding the powertrain. Therefore, we always have two electric motors capable of delivering a maximum power of 400 kW which allows us to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The autonomy, according to the WLTP cycle, reaches 520 km. The traction is; integral.


For the launch of this special series, Kith has made no only a collection of accessories inspired by this electric model but also a one-off based on the BMW 1602 of 1972 , which is; It has been converted to operate on electric power. This is a tribute to the BMW 1602 Elektro that was used for the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.
