The new model is characterized by some aesthetic touches, especially at the front level, new technologies and the introduction of a different powertrain for the 100% electric variant. DESIGN AND INTERIORS 
As for the look of the new DS 3, the manufacturer says that with the restyling comes a redesigned grille , more wide and improved, with diamond-shaped edges in black paint or chrome depending on the model. In addition, the DS Wings have been modified, while new Full LED headlights are standard across the range. As an option, the brand offers headlights with DS MATRIX LED VISION technology.
The new daytime running lights now feature two lines of LEDs arranged vertically on either side of the front. DS highlights that the new spoiler and the new grille have been redesigned to optimize aerodynamics. Small tweaks also to the rear to highlight the optical groups. The 17 and 18-inch alloy wheels also make their debutfrom the new design. In the 100% electric model, the DS 3 is; available with new 18-inch TOULOUSE alloy wheels with & quot; Tall & amp; tires Narrow Class A + & quot ;.
The NEW DS 3 & egrave; available in seven body colors, matte, metallic or pearlescent, including two new pearlescent colors: Diva Red, a three-layer color exclusive to the NEW DS 3, and Premi & egrave; re Gray. The offer is completed by Crystal Gray, Platinum Gray, Artense Gray, Pearl Black and Absolute White, with the option of creating a two-tone combination with two roof variants: the Black Pearl or the new Carat Gray.
As for the interior, however, the manufacturer has introduced new upholstery and a new steering wheel which combines the controls of the driving aids and the buttons of the infotainment, with the shifters for the automatic transmission. On the technology side, the new 10.3 display for the infotainment system stands out, with the new DS IRIS SYSTEM platform. The digital instrumentation has a 7-inch screen.

ENGINES AND SAFETY 
The new DS 3 is offered with petrol and diesel engines as well as in the 100% electric E-TENSE variant. So, we have the PureTech 100 petrol models with 6-speed manual gearbox and PureTech 130 with 8-speed automatic gearbox. There is then the BlueHDi 130 diesel version with 8-speed automatic transmission.
The electric model has a new powertrain. The engine delivers 115 kW (155 hp) of power with 270 Nm of torque and & egrave; powered by a 54 kWh battery (50.8 kWh usable) which allows an autonomy of up to 402 km according to the WLTP cycle. The accumulator can be recharged in direct current up to a maximum power of 100 kW. In alternating current, on the other hand, up to 11 kW.
Speaking of the ADAS systems, the DS 3 offers as standard the Lane Keeping Assist, the Traffic Sign Recognition with information reproduced on the instrument display and the Active Safety Brake up to 85 km/h. You can & ograve; also have DS DRIVE ASSIST which combines adaptive cruise control with the Stop and Go function and lane keeping assistance to offer a level 2 assisted driving system.
