AMD will unveil the RDNA 3 architecture, which is expected to spawn Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards, on November 3rd. Scott Herkelman, responsible for Radeon at AMD, announced this on Twitter – two hours before Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will present the GeForce RTX 4000.
The RDNA 3 “Launch” has a date
The final presentation of the new generation should be hidden behind the “launch”, the shipping of test samples and the market launch should only take place afterwards. More information will follow “soon,” Herkelman said.

Moved to Radeon RX 7000
Things had recently become very quiet around AMD's Radeon RX 7000 with RDNA 3 architecture, until a week ago schematic drawing of the PCB of presumed custom designs the Radeon RX 7900 XT were made public.
This leak recently confirmed credible rumors about the structure of Navi 31 consisting of a graphics compute die (processing unit) and six memory control dies ( memory chip including Infinity Cache).
Of the six memory controllers, two 2 GB GDDR6 chips each should be addressed via 32 bits, which is 24 GB over a 384-bit wide interface.
AMD had already confirmed that RDNA 3 will be launched later this year and showed a working system with Ryzen 7000 and RDNA 3 GPU. Now the date for the presentation has finally been set.
Geforce RTX 4000 is already expected today
Nvidia will take the first step on the way to a hot GPU autumn and probably winter as well today and in all probability via GeForce RTX 4000 as part of the “GeForce Beyond” live stream at 5:00 p.m. German time , possibly also talking specifically about GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB, RTX 4080 16 GB and RTX 4070 12 GB. Rumors about their specifications had received much more substance recently.
