There is “absolutely no process at all” to exclude the Liberals from the group, which, among other things, wants to change the population of Europe, according to representatives.
– It was a normal discussion in the group after the election about the Liberals' situation, but not about whether they would remain in the group, says Antoine Guéry.
During a meeting with the party group, the Liberals' choice of path regarding SD was criticized so harshly that L leader Johan Pehrson felt urged to write a letter to the group leader and explain his party's strategic considerations.
Guéry says that Pehrson's letter was well received and that the party group shares the Liberals' view when it comes to SD not being part of the government.
