Volta Zero completes a new test cycle. In production at the beginning of 2023

Volta Trucks is continuing to develop Volta Zero, its 16-wheeler electric truck tons . The Swedish startup wanted to offer an update on the tests it is carrying out. THE TESTS Entering more & ugrave; specifically, Volta Trucks has completed with its Volta Zero electric truck pi & ugrave; of 2,500 km of driving cycles , focused on customer needs, at speed; motorways, towns and cities. During these tests & egrave; the operation of the air conditioning system and the thermal management of the battery and the powertrain was evaluated. The tests, underlines the company, were carried out with temperatures of 39 degrees during the day and 28 degrees at night .

To test even more; thoroughly reliability of the electric truck , tests were also conducted on dirt roads. In these conditions & egrave; It was possible to test the vehicle's suspension, steering, traction control and braking system beyond the limits of normal customer use.

At the same time, thanks to the tests on dirt roads, & egrave; It was also possible to evaluate the accumulation of dust for entry into the cabin and in the load compartment, as well as & eacute; how it settles on components such as lights, wipers and panels. These tests allowed the company to gather valuable data to finalize the development of the electric truck before it goes into production early next year.
