Pagani Utopia, here is the new supercar with 864 HP V12 engine

Pagani Utopia & egrave; a new supercar formerly known as the Pagani C10. It is a highly anticipated model that we had talked about often in recent times and which is considered as the heir of the Pagani Huayra . For its development, Pagani worked over 6 years and the result is; a car whose design is inspired by the world of motorsport of the past. The first deliveries will start next year (April). The price? Definitely within the reach of a few collectors who have no budget problems given that we are talking about 2.15 million euros more; taxes.

DESIGN AND INTERIORS very few aerodynamic attachments. Despite this, & egrave; very efficient. Thanks to a careful aerodynamic study , Pagani & egrave; managed to obtain a high downforce value. The manufacturer says that the car's design features elements inspired by objects from the 1950s such as the tapered headlights of Vespa scooters or the fittings of Riva motorboats. The forged wheels feature a turbine-shaped carbon fiber extractor that pulls hot air away from the brakes and reduces turbulence under the body. Mounted on carbon-ceramic discs, the brake calipers have a new lightweight design.

The side mirrors are spaced from the body for better aerodynamics. The four titanium tailpipes placed centrally, a distinctive feature of Pagani, are still present. Featuring a ceramic coating to dissipate heat efficiently, the complete exhaust system reaches a weight of just over 6 kg. The components that form the bodywork have also been reduced and we also find solutions such as the faired headlights and splitters and front hood that integrate all the aerodynamic ducts for cooling.

The new Pagani Utopia supercar & egrave; built around a monocoque made of latest generation composite materials such as CarboTitanio HP62 G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62 to which the front and rear frames in chromium-molybdenum steel alloy are connected. Compared to the Huayra, the rigidity torsional & egrave; increased by 10.5%.

For the interior, Pagani has chosen not to equip its new supercar with an infotainment system . It is certainly a very courageous choice given the current fashion that sees high-tech cockpits even on super sports cars. Therefore, there is only one display in front of the driver that shows the main information of the car. For the rest, we find only analog instruments. The passenger compartment features references to technical and aesthetic solutions from the 50s and 60s. The steering wheel & egrave; machined from solid from a single block of aluminum.

ENGINE

The beating heart of the new Pagani Utopia is; a 6-liter V12 twin-turbo engine derived from AMG . This unit & agrave; & egrave; capable of delivering 864 hp (635 kW) with 1,100 Nm of torque . The manufacturer points out that the engine has a dry weight of 262 kg. This supercar can rely on a transverse 7-speed Xtrac manual gearbox with electromechanical differential. Alternatively, & egrave; a 7-speed automatic transmission also made by Xtrac is available.

Unfortunately, Pagani has not disclosed the performance of this new car at the moment. The suspensions are double independent wishbone in forged aluminum alloy with coil springs and electronically controlled shock absorbers. The braking system is of Brembo and & egrave; consisting of 4 410×38 mm ventilated carbon-ceramic discs with 6-piston monolithic calipers at the front and 390×34 mm with 4-piston monolithic calipers at the rear. The alloy wheels are 21-inch at the front and 22-inch at the rear with Pirelli PZero Corsa tires 265/35 R21 front and 325/30 R22 rear.
