The European auto market & egrave; more and more; important for Chinese carmakers. After entering the Norwegian market, Hongqi , a Chinese luxury car brand owned by of the FAW Group, has also decided to land in Holland thanks to an agreement with Stern Premium Cars BV which will import & agrave; and commercialize; its cars.
Specifically, in the country it will be; introduced the maxi electric SUV Hongqi E-HS9 which at the beginning of the year had debuted in Norway.
LOTS OF SPACE AND COMFORT 
This SUV promises plenty of space and comfort and represents Hongqi's flagship offering. It measures 5.2 meters in length and features a boxy design. You can & ograve; choose in 6 or 7 seater versions. Inside the passenger compartment, in addition to luxury finishes, we also find a lot of technology. For example, the dashboard is; dominated by several large screens: one for the digital instrumentation, one for the infotainment system and one for the front passenger. Also, under the infotainment display is there is an additional screen dedicated to the management of some functionalities; car such as climate control.
The electric SUV also offers multiple driver assistance systems. Speaking of the powertrain, Hongqi E-HS9 & egrave; proposed in two variants. In the first we have a double electric motor with a power of 325 kW and a 76.5 kWh battery which allows an autonomy of 396 km. Alternatively, the SUV & egrave; also available in a version with 410 kW, 90 kWh battery and a range of 465 km. This version more & ugrave; powerful & egrave; also capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
Dutch deliveries are expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2022 . For the moment, there are no indications on prices. However, in Norway the SUV starts at just under 65 thousand euros. It will be interesting to find out if Hongqi will succeed to find a place in the Dutch car market. For the moment, sales in Norway are doing quite well. In the first half of the year, in fact, almost 1,000 units of this electric maxi SUV were registered.
For the moment, there are no further details on Hongqi's expansion plans in the Old Continent market.
