D30 and D40 are simple cases for the Micro-ATX and ATX form factor with an unusual cooling concept. Both towers carry air from bottom to top. The size is also remarkable: Even the ATX model only offers a volume of just under 32 liters without having to resort to small components.
D30 and D40 only differ in height. The larger D40 needs a little more space to accommodate an ATX mainboard. To save space, the power supply moves in front of the front and blows warm air out upwards. The fact that graphics cards with a length of 355 millimeters can be used therefore requires a short power supply unit, although the taller D40 offers more leeway here.
Jonsbo distributes hard drives in corners and gaps. A 3.5″ or 2.5″ drive is attached to the floor directly behind the front, another 2.5″ drive behind the HDD cage. A vertical hard drive tray is used to attach two additional 2.5″ hard drives, while at the same time hiding power and data cables in a double function as a privacy screen. Coolers on the processor can be a maximum of 168 millimeters high, which means that almost all available models fit into the chassis.

A 120 mm fan can be mounted in the rear or two 140 mm or three 120 mm fans can be mounted under the cover. However, the towers are delivered without a fan. Radiators, including the fan, can be a maximum of 52 millimeters thick, they can then be attached under the cover. Dust filters are only provided on the bottom and back.
The cases are offered in the colors black, white and silver. All three versions of the D30 are available now for around 110 euros, and the D40 is expected to be available in stores from September 9th for 115 euros.
