Apple is likely to unveil the Apple Watch Series 8 sometime in the coming months, presumably during the iPhone 14 event in September. The main improvements we expect are the addition of a temperature sensor and a new energy-saving mode, which allows you to use the Apple Watch for longer. But how much will you have to pay to get the new Apple Watch Series 8 on your wrist? That has not yet been officially announced, but based on previous models and rumors, we have come a long way in determining the price of the Apple Watch Series 8.
Because the Apple Watch Series 8 Now that it has not yet been officially announced, it is also not yet known at what price Apple will sell this model. But before the announcement of a new Apple product, there are sometimes rumors of price increases or a lower price.
Fortunately, as far as the Apple Watch Series 8 is concerned, there have been no reports that the price will increase significantly. In view of the improvements, there is no immediate reason for this. However, Apple can raise the price in Europe, given the current inflation. Price Apple Watch Pro: the new titanium version
As you may have already seen, we do not mention the existing titanium Apple Watch Edition in the overview above. Apple is rumored to use titanium for the new Apple Watch Pro or Apple Watch Explorer Edition. This will probably be a separate model, based on the Apple Watch Series 8, but with a larger screen and sturdier housing. That also results in a higher price tag. There are rumors that the price of the Apple Watch Pro is at least $900. But that price doesn't come completely out of the blue.
The current Apple Watch Edition made of titanium in the Apple Watch Series 7 version is available in Germany from €829.-. This model is not officially sold in the Netherlands. So a larger version with extra functions, with a price of $900, is not that crazy after all. It is of course still a lot of money, but it is certainly not an unrealistic estimate. In Europe that would translate to about €959.

Prices Apple Watch SE 2022
The third model that Apple will probably release this fall is the Apple Watch SE 2022. This model will be the direct successor of the current Apple Watch SE and will get a faster chip and some health functions that are still missing on the Apple Watch SE. The price of the Apple Watch SE 2022 will therefore be comparable to the price of the current Apple Watch SE: from €299. These are therefore the prices of the Apple Watch SE 2022 that we expect:

Everything points to us getting a new Apple Watch SE in 2022. The Apple Watch SE 2022 is the successor to the previous generation and will probably get some minor improvements.
Price the first Apple Watch SE: the new entry-level model?
The current Apple Watch SE may take the place of the Apple Watch Series 3. We think that Apple is finally removing the older Series 3 from 2017 from its range, especially now that this model cannot be updated to watchOS 9. The current Apple Watch SE can therefore drop in price to the level of the Apple Watch Series 3. We However, we are not yet sure whether the Apple Watch SE will remain in Apple's range, because usually Apple immediately stops selling the current model when a new entry-level model is released. We see that every year with the entry-level iPad and last spring also with the iPhone SE 2022. Nevertheless, the first Apple Watch SE will remain available from third-party sellers for a while, even if it is no longer part of Apple's range. These are the prices of the first Apple Watch SE that we expect from this fall.
