Kia EV9, the new electric SUV? been spied on at the Nurburgring

Although the future Kia EV9 electric SUV is primarily designed for the American market, in 2023 it will be; also proposed in Europe. We are talking about the production version of the concept that the Korean car manufacturer had unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November 2021. Spy photos also let you see how the doors open in the traditional way. The concept, in fact, had the rear doors that opened against the wind. The prototype featured in the photos also features 21-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The images do not show the cockpit. However, you can & ograve; imagine that for the EV9 Kia adopts a solution very similar to that present on the EV6. The new SUV pogger & agrave; on the well-known E-GMP platform of the Hyundai Group which supports an 800 V architecture. This means that it will be; possible to recharge at high power.

The car manufacturer had not provided particular details on the powertrain and had limited itself to saying that the SUV will be able to count on a distance up to about 480 km with a full load of energy.
