Leaks on GeForce RTX 4000 model variants allegedly being considered by Nvidia and their potential configurations have been appearing almost every day in recent weeks and months – they often even contradicted each other. Rumors about the Ada generation could soon have more substance – says another rumor.
Partners are said to have received the first final data
Twitter user AGF held out the prospect of this, citing as justification that Nvidia has now provided partners such as Asus, MSI and Co. with the information they need to create their own custom designs for the next Develop Gen graphics cards.
Get your popcorn and enjoy the show because Leaks will become more intense next week. AIBs are getting all the info they need from NV to build their custom PCBs. It also means that launch is soon…

If this information is correct, it doesn't have to mean that the rumor mill surrounding Nvidia's Ada graphics cards, which has at times taken on grotesque traits, paints a clearer picture – if you believe exactly this rumor mill on this point. Because recently it was said repeatedly that Nvidia would initially launch a new top model, presumably a “GeForce RTX 4090” with a predominantly active AD102 chip, with a clear time lag, the rest would follow later. Some voices even only spoke of the coming year – partly with reference to the now confirmed, full warehouse with GeForce RTX 3000. Either way, partners may only have received information about this top model for the time being. And if not, several models obviously appear at a shorter time interval.
Facts still not reported
Many observers who are fundamentally interested in the scene have been wishing for more facts and less speculation for a long time. To date, however, only the basics of the three GPUs AD102 (144 SM in 12 GPC, 96 MB L2, 384 bit), AD103 (84 SM in 7 GPC, 64 MB L2, 256 bit) and AD104 (60 SM in 5 GPC, 48 MB L2, 192 bit) and the key data of a large AD102 variant (“GeForce RTX 4090”) to be considered secure. The models below, initially in analogy to the predecessor GeForce RTX 4080 and GeForce RTX 4070, were again the subject of a wide variety of rumors, although a large gap between an AD102-based 4090 and an AD103-based 4080 was the subject of all speculation.
