KMyMoney is a powerful open source application for recording and managing personal finances, supporting different account types, income and expense categorization, bank account reconciliation, importing and exporting Financial data in the open file formats QIF and OFX.
Extensive product maintenance after more than a year
The KDE Project open source community, supported by the registered KDE e.V. and the KDE community, has released the latest version of their free personal finance manager KMyMoney.
KMyMoney v5.1.3 has been released for Windows, macOS and Linux and, according to the official release notes, contains numerous minor innovations, optimizations and bug fixes. Also fixed a critical error with the AppImage and random crashes in the finance program.
This is the first release of the powerful finance software in over a year, after the version 5.1.2 was released in June 2021.

Users using Quicken – later FinanzManager – from Lexware, Microsoft Money or the open source alternatives Hibiscus and GnuCash can also take a look at KMyMoney.
OpenHBCI fork and plugin architecture
Home banking is managed via enables its own plugin architecture, while the OpenHBCI fork AqBanking is used as the substructure for KMyMoney.
KMyMoney also enables the management of loans and securities. The operating principle of the open software, which is subject to the GNU General Public License (GPLv3), is based on double-entry bookkeeping.
