After previewing the design of the new electric IONIQ 6, Hyundai officially presented its new model, sharing many more; information. The start of production of his new car derived from the Prophecy concept car & egrave; planned in the third quarter of 2022 .

DESIGN AND INTERIORS

All seats have been made specifically for fully electric models and are pi & ugrave; thin by about 30% compared to those of other conventional models, guaranteeing more; space for passengers. ENGINES AND RANGE 
Hyundai has also provided some additional information on the powertrains chosen for the IONIQ 6. The car & egrave; proposed in different versions with one or two electric motors and battery packs of two capacities; different . The 77.4 kWh accumulator can be combined with both single-engine and dual-engine versions and all-wheel drive.
At the top, says Hyundai, we find a dual-engine powertrain capable of delivering 239 kW (325 hp) with 605 Nm of torque. The performances are very good since this version of the IONIQ 6 will be; capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.
The Korean brand wanted to emphasize the efficiency of the car. In the version with 53 kWh battery , single engine (rear-wheel drive) and 18-inch wheels, Hyundai declares less than 14 kWh per 100 km . On the charging front, thanks to the 800 V architecture, from the direct current columns to 350 kW, to go from 10% to 80% of the capacity; 18 minutes of battery life is enough.
And the autonomy? Hyundai claimed over 610 km (estimated) for the model with the 77.4 kWh accumulator, single electric motor and 18-inch wheels. Like all cars based on the E-GMP platform, the IONIQ 6 also has support for the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function which allows you to supply energy and charge external electrical devices.
SAFETY
As regards the ADAS equipment, the new electric can & ograve; rely on updated version of Hyundai SmartSense . We have, for example, Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2), Smart Cruise Control (SCC) and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA). Some features include the advanced functions of Junction Crossing, Lane-Changing Oncoming and Lane-Changing Side, as well as Evasive Steering Assist.
IONIQ 6 also features Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), which adjusts the speed; of the vehicle to adjust it to the speed limit, and of the High Beam Assist (HBA) which turns the high beams on and off at night for vehicles approaching in the oncoming lane. The car is also can detect if the driver & egrave; sleepy or distracted. The Driver Attention Warning (DAW) analyzes the driver's attention level while driving and warns him when necessary.
Then we have the Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) which allows the visualization of the blind spot via a camera, for a safe lane change. For the safety of rear passengers & egrave; there is the Safe Exit Warning (SEW) system, which signals the approach of a vehicle from the rear while getting off.
There is no lack of advanced parking functions such as Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2 ) which helps to park remotely thanks to the Remote Parking function, or allows you to exit a parking space, always from outside the vehicle, thanks to the Remote Operation function. The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) helps to avoid collisions with oncoming vehicles from the sides when reversing, while the Forward/Side/Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA) helps to avoid collisions with pedestrians and objects around the vehicle when parking or exiting it.
