The Windows subsystem for Android receives a function update with version 2205.40000.14.0.0 and remains without any function in this country for the time being. Under Windows 11, the Windows Subsystem for Android and the Amazon Appstore are still only available to users with an Amazon account in the USA.

Windows subsystem for Android still not functional

Apart from the third-party apps “WSATools” and “WSA Toolbox”, which serve as app installers for the Android packages (.APK), the new subsystem for Android (WSA) cannot yet be used outside the USA. The Amazon Appstore Preview can already be found on the website and in the Microsoft Store since Windows 11 Build 22000.194. However, this is still a pure placeholder.
