The 8GadgetPack from the German developer Helmut Buhler makes desktop gadgets from Windows Vista up to the current Windows 11 installable. In the latest version, compatibility with Windows 11 (“Sun Valley”) has been improved and the available gadgets have been cleaned up. There are also various error corrections.

A touch of Windows Vista for Windows 11

The 8GadgetPack, which has been released since 2012, makes the desktop gadgets known from Windows Vista, including the associated sidebar, also usable under Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and recently also under Windows 11. The version 35.0 that has now been released improves again in terms of compatibility.

In addition to the obligatory optimizations and bug fixes, the official release notes also list compatibility improvements for Windows 11.
