The 8GadgetPack from the German developer Helmut Buhler makes desktop gadgets from Windows Vista up to the current Windows 11 installable. In the latest version, compatibility with Windows 11 (“Sun Valley”) has been improved and the available gadgets have been cleaned up. There are also various error corrections.
A touch of Windows Vista for Windows 11
The 8GadgetPack, which has been released since 2012, makes the desktop gadgets known from Windows Vista, including the associated sidebar, also usable under Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and recently also under Windows 11. The version 35.0 that has now been released improves again in terms of compatibility.
In addition to the obligatory optimizations and bug fixes, the official release notes also list compatibility improvements for Windows 11.

About a year after the release of 8GadgetPack v34.0, the update takes care of all minor and major problems under Windows 11 and also eliminates the last gadget corpses and online services from the little ones Tool.

In addition, it has now been ensured that the app no longer triggers any false alarms in Windows Defender or other antivirus programs. Previously, IP detection in the Network Meter gadget could lead to related security warnings.
