MediaTek extends its arms further west and opens a research campus at a US university in the state of Indiana. This was announced at the SelectUSA Investment Summit, a three-day event to attract companies to the US.
The new design center will aim to “next-generation computing and communications chips”. However, the center is relatively small, around 30 employees plus students will initially work there.
