Polestar 5, the prototype of the electric GT debuts at Goodwood 2022

As promised, Polestar brought a prototype of the future Polestar 5 . This is a high-performance electric GT that will be & agrave; launched in 2024 . A car that & egrave; based on the Precept concept car and which will dispose of interesting technical solutions.

The Polestar 5 is taking shape to become an exceptional 4-door GT with the soul of an authentic Polestar. The platform combines the characteristics of a high-performance vehicle produced in small series with modern technological advances to introduce the technology of light and high-stiffness chassis into mass production; for sports cars.

LOTS OF POWER By presenting this prototype, Polestar has provided some further small details on the car that will be able to; count on a new platform capable of supporting 800 V architecture. The Polestar 5 will also have; of a powertrain consisting of two electric motors that the manufacturer is developing directly in Sweden. Apparently, the performances will be very interesting since the goal is; to get to have a power of 884 hp (650 kW) with a torque of 900 Nm. The electric GT, as we know, will be able to & agrave; also count on an aluminum frame.
