Specifically, they will be placed on the plate 741.3 million euros destined to finance up to 40% of the costs of building the stations.

The goal of the project is to install in Italy “ at least 7,500 super-fast charging stations for electric vehicles on extra-urban roads (excluding motorways) and at least 13,755 fast charging stations in urban centers'. The Ministry of Ecological Transition has now announced the first step that will allow; to carry out this important project. Starting from yesterday & egrave; a public consultation has been launched which will end on June 6. The goal is define the action plan.

TENDER NOTICES

The funds that will be used for the installation of these infrastructures will be disbursed through competitive procedures . Specifically, there will be; a call per year in the period 2022-2024. The first call is; expected in December 2022 with an opening period of 90 days.

The ranking of each call will be & agrave; drawn up on the discount offered on the maximum% of the capital contribution (40%), corrected by specific reward factors detailed below.

The Government will finance & agrave; the creation of three types of charging stations. In particular, approximately 360 million euros will be made available for energy supply points on suburban roads of at least 175 kW and approximately 353 million euros for stations up to 100 kW to be placed in urban centers . In addition, recharging points with accumulation will also be financed. For this type of infrastructure, the Government will prepare a dedicated provision that will arrive more forward.

It should be emphasized that the 175 kW recharging points must be modular in order to be upgradeable and deliver at least 350 kW.

& Egrave; however, a maximum admissible investment cost per charging station is envisaged, equal to 81,000 euros for the supply and installation of the plants, to which are added the costs of connection to the electricity grid and the design costs, quantified respectively equal to a maximum 40% and 10% of the maximum cost of supply and installation. And & rsquo; charging stations must be built and put into operation within 12 months of admission to the incentive.

As regards, instead, the 100 kW stations for urban areas, the maximum investment cost is; equal to 50,000 euros. Also in this case & egrave; charging stations must be built and put into operation within 12 months of admission to the incentive.

Finally, there is an interesting detail to underline. Among the objectives of the announcement there is; also that of & quot; maximizing the use of traditional fueling stations, in order to avoid further subtraction of soil and optimize the use of connections to the electricity grid already; present & quot ;. The Government, therefore, wants to push for the creation of recharging points inside the service stations already; present on the Italian territory.

Finally, among the requirements for admission to tenders, there is; the one that requires companies to demonstrate that they have at least 50 recharging stations in operation for several years; 12 months.
