Exactly 50 years ago, on May 24, 1972, BMW Motorsport GmbH was born in Germany, the sports division of the German brand responsible for the development of high-performance road models of the brand and those designed for competitions. A very important anniversary for BMW, which decided to celebrate the anniversary by presenting the special series M 50 Jahre Edition for M3 and M4 .

The United States and Canada will instead have access to 500 M3 units, available in a series of colors inspired by the older generations of the M3, from the E30 to the F80: Vermillion Red, Techno Violet, Interlagos Blu, Fire Orange and Limerock Gray.
