Two new monitors from the Japanese manufacturer iiyama deliver many pixels and a USB-C dock for the (home) office. The ProLite XUB3293UHSN offers IPS and UHD on 32 inches. The ProLite XCB3494WQSN has a curved VA panel with UWQHD on 34 inches.
XUB3293UHSN stands for IPS, UHD and 32 inches
In the classic 16:9 format, the ProLite XUB3293UHSN offers an IPS panel with 3,840 × 2,160 pixels and 60 Hz refresh rate. The 8-bit panel is combined with Frame Rate Control (FRC) to simulate 10-bit color depth. According to the manufacturer, the response time is 4 ms, the brightness is 350 cd/m² and the contrast ratio is 1,000:1. The display should cover 99 percent of the sRGB color space.
iiyama names one HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, Ethernet, Audio-Out and two USB-A as connections. The USB-C upstream port also transmits image data (DisplayPort Alt Mode) as well as Ethernet and USB signals, so it can serve as a USB-C dock for a notebook that can receive up to 65 watts from it. Thanks to the KVM switch function, two systems can be operated with the same mouse and keyboard.
