Alpitronic presents the new 400 kW Hypercharger column

The improvement of the charging experience of an electric car also involves the technical evolution of balusters . The companies that build these infrastructures are working to develop more and more products; advanced and able to deliver ever greater power in order to make more short energy supplies. On this issue comes an interesting news concerning Alpitronic , an Italian company (Bolzano), which has unveiled its new charging station HYC400 (HYC stands for Hypercharger ).

This is an evolution of the previous HYC300 model which allowed to supply energy to an electric car up to 300 kW or two cars in parallel up to 150 kW.

THE SPECIFICATIONS

Company from Bolzano, today , supplies its products to various charging networks such as Be Charge , Free To X, Enel X and Neogy, among others. According to the first specifications communicated, the new charging station has a maximum power of 400 kW . Obviously, there is currently no electric car capable of being able to supply energy at these levels. However, if there are two cars connected , each one will be able to; recharge up to a maximum of 200 kW . Alpitronic also declares an efficiency at full load of 97%.

The column is; was designed above all to meet the specifications desired by Germany for the new network & ldquo; Deutschlandnetz & rdquo ;. The German government, which has made available 2 billion euros, has decided that the columns must be able to recharge two cars at the same time at a maximum power of 200 kW.

Therefore, the new HYC400 is perfectly in line with the required specifications. The new charging station will be; soon put on the market and will go; alongside all the other products that the Italian company offers for fast charging of electric cars.
