Audi announced an important news for its cars equipped with the MMI multimedia system . The house of the 4 rings, in fact, has introduced the integration of Apple Music. Thus, users will be able to access their Apple Music account directly from the infotainment without having to connect their smartphone.
Once the account is configured, people will be able to access over 90 millions of songs , 30 thousand playlists and much more.
HOW DOES IT WORK? 
Audi explains that this novelty will arrive through an OTA update on pressoch & eacute; all its models, starting with model year 2022 , in Europe, North America and Japan. To activate your account, you will need to simply select the app via the MMI system and follow the on-screen instructions so to access the service using your Apple ID . To complete the configuration, it will suffice; enter the verification code sent to the phone.
Speaking of the costs of the data traffic required to use the streaming, Audi reminds you that connectivity in Europe; & egrave; managed through the Cubic-Telecom data packages (packages starting from € 6.95 per month). The first three GB are free. The models of the German manufacturer also support Apple CarPlay.
Users can connect their iPhone in mode; wireless, or via USB, and get traffic-optimized driving directions, make calls, send and receive messages and listen to music by touching the touch display or using Siri voice control.
