Chinese game developer MiHoYo introduces Zenless Zone Zero. As with Genshin Impact, there are anime graphics, but the setting and story are different. There is no release date yet, but there is a trailer, the system requirements and the starting signal for registering for the closed beta.

From the developer by Genshin Impact

The developers of the popular action RPG Genshin Impact announce Zenless Zone Zero, a new role-playing game. This time, the extensive fantasy universe known from Genshin is not used as the setting; instead, Zenless Zone Zero plays in a post-apocalyptic, futuristic and urban world called New Eridu. MiHoYo remains true to itself when it comes to the graphics, because both games make use of the anime style.

Little is known about the exact gameplay or story, but it is clear that the player can choose between several characters to defend the last surviving humans from monsters.

There is no public release date set for Zenless Zone Zero yet . However, interested players can register for a closed beta test on the game's website – it is not yet known when that will start either.

Platforms and system requirements

The Chinese game developer only commented on the supported platforms and system requirements. The game will be released for PC and mobile devices. The beta will be available for PC and iOS devices, so Android users will be left out for now. For the PC, the developer states the following system requirements:

System requirements for the closed beta for Zenless Zone Zero Recommended Processor Intel Core i5 Memory 16 GB RAM Graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Memory space 10 GB Software Microsoft Windows 10 (64bit)

But there are also minimum requirements for iOS devices, so the beta should only be playable on the iPhone 11 or newer devices with at least 4 GB of RAM. In addition, iOS 10.0 and 6 GB of free memory are required for the devices.
