To celebrate 55 years since the launch of the activities of the AMG sports division, Mercedes has decided to expand the 2022 range with a special & ldquo; Edition 55 & rdquo; trim for some models in the price list developed by the Affalterbach.
After presenting the G 63 Edition 55, available in the two colors Obsidian Black Metallic and G Manufaktur Opalite White, the German manufacturer has announced the arrival of another 6 Edition 55: the A 45 4MATIC, the A 45 S 4MATIC, the CLA 45 4MATIC and the CLA 45 S 4MATIC with the last two proposals both with Coup & eacute bodywork; both with Shooting Brake bodywork. The models in question, which for the German market are offered with a surcharge of 12,614 euros in the & ldquo; 45 & rdquo; and for 14,280 euros in the & ldquo; 45 S & rdquo; versions, they can be ordered until December 2022.
EXCLUSIVE DESIGN 
L & rsquo; special equipment & ldquo; Edition 55 & rdquo; on the A and CLA can & ograve; be chosen in the shades metallic Cosmos black or Digital white which, together with the decals with the traditional AMG logo and the cross-spoke forged wheels in 19 & rdquo; titanium gray, give an exclusive look.
The special versions are also characterized by the presence of < strong> AMG Night and AMG Night II packages which add high-gloss black aesthetic details such as the inserts in the AMG door sill panels, the beltline molding, the window line molding and the exterior mirror housings. Added to these is the AMG aerodynamics package, which includes a larger front splitter; large and additional flics, an AMG rear wing and deflectors on the fake side air intakes of the rear fender.
All these components are painted in metallic black and have been developed in the wind tunnel.
DEDICATED INTERIORS 
The Mercedes-AMG & ldquo; Edition 55 & rdquo; they also feature dedicated interiors with black finishes and contrasting red details . The AMG Performance seats are upholstered in classic two-tone red/black leather while the AMG Performance steering wheel in microfibre is distinguished by the presence in the lower race of the & quot; Edition 55 & quot; badge. and for the black 12 o'clock marking.
Other elements reserved for these cars also include the door sill panels with red illuminated AMG lettering, black velvet AMG floor mats with stitching and & quot; Edition 55 & quot; ; contrasting red and AMG trim elements in dark brushed aluminum.
