DHL, agreement with Volvo Trucks to accelerate the use of electric trucks


DHL yes & egrave; set a goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050 as part of its “ Mission 2050 '' plan. To achieve this goal, the company & agrave; is carrying out several initiatives including that of electrifying the trucks it uses within its transport fleet. And to carry out this strategy, DHL announced that it has signed a new agreement with Volvo Trucks for the supply of additional 44 electric trucks to be used on European roads.

In particular, of the 44 electric trucks ordered, 40 will be Volvo FE Electric and Volvo FL models Electric which will be used for deliveries within cities.
