Saints Row Reboot: Customization as extensive as never before

In the upcoming reboot of Saints Row, the possibilities for customizing the character, clothing, weapons and vehicles will be even more extensive than in the predecessors. Prostheses and asymmetrical faces, individual weapon skins or the decoration of the headquarters are new.

With the upcoming Saints Row, the developers promise “the best choice of customization tools from all Saints Row – Playing so far”. This is not too much promised, as a comprehensive video with illustrative examples and developer comments shows.

Crooked faces are new

Many of the character customization options were present in Saints Row IV, but the variety of possibilities has increased even further. Faces can now be designed asymmetrically so that one half of the face looks different from the other. Various hairstyles and hair colors, the adaptation of physique and skin color are obligatory.

Clothing is layered just like in the real world, and even the socks can be customized. However, if you don't wear underwear at all, you won't see everything: There are different censorship modes for the genital area. If you don't want to invest too much time in character creation, you can choose from ready-made presets.

Weapon skins and HQ decoration

As usual, the fleet can also be used for yourself or for the also customize gear. In addition, the various weapons and their individual parts can also be designed in the desired color or skin.

A dilapidated church serves as the headquarters in the new game world of the South American influenced Santo Ileso. The video shows the armoury, wardrobe and garage and options for individual decoration with unusual statues.

Release at the end of August

The new Saints Row, which takes the name of the first part as a reboot and is not called Saints Row 5, will be released on August 23, 2022 for the platforms Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S are coming.

The series stays true to its core concept as you build your own gangster empire by conquering neighborhoods from enemy factions. This also applies to unusual vehicles and weapons, although the striking baton dildo will no longer be included. You can also experience the story with a friend in co-op mode.
