The new Jeep Grand Cherokee debuts on the European market. The fifth generation of this SUV & egrave; was presented in America towards the end of September 2021. Now, it is; the time has come for the launch in the Old Continent, including Italy. To debut in Europe the 4xe model, that is; the Plug-in hybrid version . A choice that is not surprising given the electrification plans of the brand.
Jeep has started pre-orders of the Grand Cherokee 4xe in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Through a specially prepared site, interested parties will be able to leave their expression of interest between February 17 and March 30 and then be contacted again when the vehicle will be; available in dealerships.
SPECIAL LAUNCH EDITION 
At launch it will be; only a special version called Exclusive Launch Edition is availablewhich is characterized by a rich standard equipment with technological accessories and driving aid systems, Easy Wallbox for home charging, cable for public charging with dedicated reel, and the specific launch package including, the 4xe indoor car cover, l & rsquo ; one-year vehicle warranty extension, for a total of three, and some privileges thanks to the 3-year Jeep Wave, such as the first three coupons provided for in the use and maintenance booklet.
Aesthetically, this version is recognized by the presence of 21-inch alloy wheels with a glossy finish and a contrasting glossy black roof to match the white, black, red and gray colors. Inside the passenger compartment we find a lot of refinement with walnut wood inserts and Palermo leather door and upholstery upholstery. The front seats are electrically adjustable in 16 positions, equipped with lumbar support and memory function, and also offer the massage function integrated in the backrest. The rear sofa is also; heatable and ventilated.

Overall, there are 380 hp (280 kW) and 637 Nm of torque available. The accumulator has a capacity of 17 kWh and allows autonomy in mode; electric only up to 51 km in urban areas.
